How Lipsync Works

Lipsync uses AI facial animation to synchronize mouth movements with any audio track. You can use it two ways: upload a video and replace its dialogue with new audio (the AI re-animates the lips to match), or upload a still photo and audio to create a talking-head video from scratch. The AI handles phoneme detection, jaw movement, and facial expressions to produce convincing lip synchronization in any language. Filmmakers use Lipsync for dubbing films into new languages without re-shooting. E-learning creators make multilingual course content. Real estate agents create property tour videos in multiple languages. Coaches build spoken content from portrait photos. Content localizers translate video content while maintaining natural-looking lip movement. For video input, use footage with a clear, front-facing view of the speaker's mouth. Profile shots and extreme angles reduce lip sync accuracy. For photo input, choose a portrait with a neutral or slightly open mouth. The audio should be clean with minimal background noise. Fast mode processes in seconds for previews, while HD mode takes longer but produces more natural mouth movements.
